Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, you’ll need Ableton to get the most out of the lessons. You can avail of a 30 day free trial to Ableton if you’re not ready to commit! You don’t need the newest Ableton either don’t worry :)

  • Everything from building basic drum patterns to music theory and industry insights. Each courses curriculum can be tailored to fit your preferred style whether that be wobbly basslines and atmospheres for dubstep or polyrhythms and creative effects for techno.

  • I generally recommend booking in weekly or fortnightly. This will give you enough time to practise in between lessons and to formulate new questions for the next lesson.

  • If this is the case don’t worry, just book into whichever course you think feels closest to your level and we can go from there!

  • I’m happy and able to cover all kinds of music. Don't be shy to bring anything you want to the table, I always say branching into more than one genre can help to improve your skill overall!

  • All lessons are done via Zoom. As a prerequisite for lessons it’s important that you download the Zoom Desktop App to ensure we can screen share to listen to your projects and progress. I will email you a Zoom link approximately 1 to 2 minutes before each lesson.
